News: The news opens with a non-cannabis drug related story out of Washington State, followed by an overview of a Federally funded  study looking at medical cannabis and anxiety. The news moves on with an update about DEA cannabis arrests in 2024, and finishes up with  a plea from conservationist concerning psychedelic toads .    This TCC get's going with a surprising update about hemp cannabinoids   from Lukas News The news kicks off with a great story out of Mississippi about the Choctaw Indian Tribe beginning the process of opening a recreational cannabis system on their land. Next up the duo look at an investigation that found Oregon grown cannabis in NYC adult use cannabis stores. Rounding out the news is a discussion of a "ditch weed" genome project in the Mid-West and a closer look at the claim that " Cannabis uses more energy than bitcoin." In the 3rd episode of TCC's 7th season, the hosts alert the audience about a WA cannabis recall .   News: The news segment kicks off with an overview of the state of " hemp derived" cannabinoids around the country, followed by some good news out of New York about cannabis farmers markets . In the second half of the news, Lukas and Dig  highlight research into creation of mildew resistant cannabis strains and, lastly, they dive into a story about research into the military  giving active duty troops MDMA to treat PTSD.   Uncle Dig's Garden Update: Dig brings the audience up to date on what is growing in his garden.
